Marathon Capital, LLC has announced CEI Energética and Nebras Power have created a partnership to navigate the rapidly growing energy sector in Brazil. The joint venture company will own, operate, and manage 18 hydroelectric plants in Brazil, an installed capacity of 72 MW, a portfolio of more than 13GW in photovoltaic projects, and BEI – a service company that provides operation, maintenance, and engineering for power plants. Marathon Capital acted as exclusive financial advisor to CEI on the transaction.
