Marathon Capital Hires Jeremy Hux as Senior Managing Director, Head of Energy and Sustainable Technologies
Marathon Capital, LLC (“Marathon”) is pleased to announce Jeremy Hux has joined the firm as Senior Managing Director and Head of Energy and Sustainable Technologies, in its San Francisco Office. Mr. Hux will head up the Energy and Sustainable Technology practice while expanding the firm’s corporate client coverage and advisory capabilities.
Mr. Hux brings over 20 years of technology and energy and sustainable technology investment banking and private equity experience to the firm. He spent nine years at Credit Suisse, where he was Global Head of Credit Suisse’s Clean Technology Investment Banking practice and approximately eight years at Morgan Stanley where he created, and was head of, Morgan Stanley’s West Coast Clean Technology Banking group. Prior to joining Marathon, Mr. Hux was also the founder and Managing Partner of HCP Advisors, an independent Technology and Clean Technology investment banking boutique and a Partner at True North Venture Partners, a clean technology and sustainability focused private equity and venture capital firm.
