Trevor Winnie

Trevor Winnie, Director, is based in Marathon’s New York City office and is responsible for executing M&A and private placement engagements in the renewable energy and power sectors.

Since joining Marathon in 2018, Mr. Winnie has participated in various M&A and capital raise transactions, with particular experience covering renewable energy development platform clients. Most recently, Mr. Winnie advised on the majority equity sale of ib vogt GmbH, a leading global utility-scale solar developer, to DIF Capital Partners.

Prior to joining Marathon, Mr. Winnie was an Investment Banking Associate in the Power & Renewables Group at Credit Suisse in New York, where he covered merchant power, regulated utility, and renewable energy clients. Previously, Mr. Winnie worked as the Senior Research Analyst at Clean Edge, a clean-tech consulting firm, and was a Contributing Author to Clean Tech Nation (HarperBusiness, 2012), a book exploring the growth of clean technology and renewable energy in the United States.

Mr. Winnie received his BA in Economics from Lewis & Clark College and his MBA from Yale School of Management. Mr. Winnie holds his Series 63 and 79 licenses.
