Meet Pat Van Grinsven

Pat Van Grinsven is an Associate responsible for creating detailed financial models, conducting due diligence, evaluating transactional risk/return parameters, and preparing investment marketing materials in support of Marathon Capital’s senior bankers in their relationship management responsibilities.

Prior to joining Marathon, Mr. Van Grinsven worked for Delphos International, an emerging markets-focused financial advisory firm in Washington DC, where he raised debt and equity capital for clients in sectors including renewable and conventional energy, financial services, and agribusiness, among others. His professional experience also includes four years working for members of Congress on Capitol Hill, and stints in equity research at Height Capital Markets and international economics at the U.S. Treasury Department during his graduate studies.

Mr. Van Grinsven received his BA in World Politics from Hamilton College, and his MA in International Relations and International Economics with concentrations in Finance and Energy from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Mr. Van Grinsven holds his Series 63 and 79 licenses.
