Jay Norton

Jay Norton is Deputy General Counsel at Marathon Capital. He is responsible for advising on Marathon’s U.S. and international business activities.

Prior to joining Marathon, Mr. Norton served as Director and Senior Counsel at Société Générale. Additionally, he has also been Director and Counsel at UBS Investment Bank and Capital Markets Partner at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP.

Mr. Norton earned a JD with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law and a BA in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Miami in Florida. He is proficient in Spanish. Mr. Norton holds Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses and is a member of the NY Bar Association.
