Meet Mason Sapp
Mason Sapp, Associate, is responsible for conducting research and due diligence, authoring marketing and offering materials, preparing financial analysis, and creating financial models supporting Marathon Capital’s senior bankers.
At Marathon, Mr. Sapp has supported the execution of M&A and private placement engagements in the renewable energy and cleantech sectors, including Bright’s Series C capital raise, energyRe’s acquisition of Southern Current, the sale of Safari Energy to Aspen Power Partners, Nestlé tax equity investment into Ganado Solar, and Bluon’s Series B capital raise. Prior to joining, Mr. Sapp completed Marathon’s summer internship program and an internship at Commercial Solar Advisors in the Bay Area.
Mr. Sapp graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in Economics and a minor in Statistics. While at school, he was the Executive Director of Poly Canyon Ventures, a non-profit micro-VC fund that invests in cleantech student-founded startups. He holds his Series 63 and 79 licenses.
