Meet Diana Drysdale
Diana Drysdale is Senior Managing Director for the firm, working out of the New York office with an initial focus on leveraging her broad network and energy sector experience to grow Marathon’s existing practice here in North America. She will simultaneously be developing new product and geographic markets for the firm both within and outside the America’s.
Diana brings broad experience in the energy and utilities sector in both regulated and unregulated businesses in the U.S. and Canada. Before joining PSEG, Ms. Drysdale led the Enterprise Risk Management efforts at Limited Brands and prior to that at Northeast Utilities where she delivered a highly effective integrated ERM framework for the company’s regulated and unregulated energy businesses. She worked for seven years with ENMAX Corporation in Calgary, Canada, where she held the positions of Vice President of Strategy and Risk Management and Vice President and Treasurer. At ENMAX she played a key role in the company’s successful growth and operations which included a number of renewable energy endeavors. Ms. Drysdale also worked for TransAlta Corporation in Calgary, Canada, for seven years in various engineering and management roles which included significant experience with the company’s generation plants.
Ms. Drysdale was named President - PSEG Power Ventures in December 2013. PSEG Power Ventures develops, owns and operates utility scale renewable and fossil energy projects. Since joining PSEG in 2008, Ms. Drysdale was responsible for the strategic growth and operations of the company’s unregulated solar subsidiary, PSEG Solar Source, which develops and acquires domestic utility scale solar facilities and was named President of PSEG Solar Source in September 2011. In addition, Ms. Drysdale was responsible for the strategic optimization of PSEG Resources’ commercial real estate and demand management investments from 2011 through 2013.
Ms. Drysdale holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Calgary in Alberta Canada; an MBA from Queen's School of Business in Ontario, Canada; and completed the Finance for Senior Executives program at Harvard Business School. Since 1993, she has been a licensed professional engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta. She has served on several boards in both the U.S. and Canada including the Bloomfield College Board of Trustees in New Jersey from 2008 to 2013 and the G.I. Go Fund Board of Directors since 2011.
