Meet Quang Ho

Quang Ho is Director, Tax Equity & Structuring for Marathon Capital. He brings 12 years of energy and infrastructure investment experience as a principal investor. He supports the building of Marathon’s tax equity and transferability capabilities in solar, wind, carbon capture, standalone storage, RNG, and green hydrogen.

Mr. Ho joined Marathon as Vice President and has worked on severable notable projects such as closing tax equity for Omega’s 265MW Goodnight Wind I project, structuring Marathon’s first PTC tax credit transfer for Ashtrom’s 400MW Tierra Bonita solar project, and advising TigerGenCo on their model and structure for their 50MW/400MWh Bayonne BESS tolling RFP with ConEd.

Prior to joining Marathon, Mr. Ho was Senior Vice President at GE Energy Financial Services in the Power and Renewable team. At GE, he focused on leading global investments in the energy sector across a range of technologies; largely focused on tax equity partnerships in the renewable energy space. Most recently, Mr. Ho closed various tax equity transactions including a 121MW wind farm in Illinois with Ares, a 100MW re-powered wind farm with AES in West Virginia, and a 162MW re-power wind project in ERCOT with Clearway. Mr. Ho also led a $1Bn portfolio sale of energy assets to Apollo, managed the refinancing and expansion of a 280MW diesel-fired peaking plant in Chile, and negotiated a 15-year PPA with Microsoft for one of GE’s portfolio companies.

Mr. Ho holds a BA in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada and is a CFA charter holder. He holds Series 63 and 79 licenses.
